🏡 House Rules We want everyone to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing stay! Please respect the property, neighboring guests, and our coastal community. 🔇 Noise & Occupancy • Quiet hours are 10 PM–7 AM. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially in shared outdoor areas. • Parties and events are not permitted. • Only registered guests may stay overnight. Additional visitors require prior approval. • Oceanside permits up to 10 additional daytime visitors between 7 AM-10 PM, subject to property occupancy limits and host approval. 🚗 Parking • Free street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. • Follow posted street-sweeping signs and never block driveways, sidewalks, or emergency access. • Guests are responsible for parking citations resulting from improper parking. 🧹 Property Care & Trash • Please keep the unit reasonably clean and dispose of trash properly. • Trash pickup is Tuesday. If your stay overlaps with collection day, we'd appreciate your help putting the bins out Monday evening and bringing them back in by Tuesday evening. This is completely optional. • Only flush toilet paper. No wipes, feminine products, or other items, even if labeled flushable. • Please treat linens, furnishings, appliances, and equipment with care. Charges for guest-caused damage or unusual staining may be requested through Airbnb. • Keep windows and exterior doors closed during bad weather and when leaving the unit to help prevent interior damage. • Report damage, maintenance concerns, or leaks promptly. Please do not attempt repairs or hire outside services without authorization. 🚭 Smoking & Outdoor Areas • Smoking and vaping are prohibited throughout the property, including patios, balconies, and the shared backyard. • Charcoal BBQs are not permitted. • Please be considerate of neighboring guests when using shared amenities. 🌊 Beach Access & Ocean Safety • Please use only the designated public seawall stairs for beach access. Do not use neighboring properties or private stairways. • The city-owned seawall stairs are weathered from wave exposure and may be uneven or slippery. Please use caution. • High tides may limit or prevent beach access. • During king tides or heavy surf, waves may break over the seawall and into the backyard. Please stay clear of the backyard and seawall stairs during hazardous conditions. • The seawall and beach are public property, not privately owned or maintained by us. 🐶 Pet Policy • One non-shedding dog under 20 lbs is permitted. Other pets require prior approval. • All pets must be disclosed and added to the reservation before arrival. • A one-time $200 pet fee applies to approved pets to help cover additional cleaning and allergen reduction. • Cats and other animals are not permitted as pets. • Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $200 charge. • Pets must be house-trained and current on vaccinations. • Excessive barking, chewing, or destructive behavior is not permitted. • Pets left unattended must be secured in a crate, kennel, or playpen. • Dogs are not permitted on Oceanside's public beaches. 📋 Reservations & Accessibility • We require guests to have previous Airbnb reviews to be considered for a reservation. • Dates cannot be changed or rescheduled if booked as non-refundable. If your plans change, you may cancel your reservation, subject to the cancellation policy selected at booking. • The unit is located on the top floor and requires stairs to enter. There is no elevator or step-free entrance. Additional stairs lead to the shared backyard and beach. 🚨 Safety & Assistance • Please familiarize yourself with emergency exits and fire extinguisher locations. • Report emergencies, safety concerns, or maintenance issues promptly. • Our local team is available through Airbnb messaging if you need assistance.
